Timons Esaias has been publishing steadily since 1989 -- first as a newspaper satirist and then as a speculative fictionator and poet. His first professional SF sale was the second most popular Interzone story of that year. He as been a finalist for the British Science Fiction Award, and had several stories on the Dozois Honorable Mentions and Locus Recommended Reading lists. Translations of his work have appeared in eight languages. His poems have sold in places ranging from Asimov's and Elysian Fields Quarterly: The Literary Journal of Baseball (twice) to literary outlets like yawp! and The Loyalhanna Review. He lives in Pittsburgh and is one of the many SF writers who have wisely married physicians. Dark and powerful Forces are arrayed against him, but still he soldiers on.
