Joe R. Lansdale

Joe R. Lansdale's numerous novels and collections include Mucho Mojo (a New York Times Notable Book), recently optioned by New Line Cinema, Cold in July, Bad Chili, By Bizarre Hands, and Atomic Chili, the Illustrated Joe. R. Lansdale. He has also written comics, including the Jonah Hex series for D.C. Comics, Joe R. Lansdale's Dead in the West Comics for Dark Horse, as well as teleplays for Batman, the Animated Series. Awards include six Bram Stokers, the British Fantasy Award, The American Mystery Award, the Horror Critics Award, the Shot in the Dark International Crime Writer's Award, The Booklist Editor's Award, the Critic's Choice Award, and others. Joe lives in Texas with his wife, Karen. His story "Tight Little Stitches in a Dead Man's Back" appears in Scorpius' horror anthology Hours of Darkness.
