David D. Levine attended Clarion West in 2000 and hasn’t slowed down since. His stories have appeared in such publications as The Year’s Best Fantasy #2, The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Interzone, and Apprentice Fantastic, and he is a winner of the James White Award, Writers of the Future, and the Phobos Fiction Contest. He has also been a nominee for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. He lives in Portland, Oregon, where he and his wife Kate Yule produce the highly-regarded science fiction fanzine Bento.
